Merry Christmas - A Little Late

This Christmas we had Nini & Yeh Yeh (Grandma & Grandpa) and our Aunty Lulu over. The day started with our traditional breakfast of bread pudding (yum). Then, we basically cooked until our guests arrived! I made my first apple pie, which made Daddy very happy. :-)

After lunch/dinner, Aunty Lulu got out her "present", which she said was sort of like a "Twelve Days of Christmas Guessing Game". So, we thought we'd pass on the fun, and let YOU guess (Hint: It doesn't always parallel the song).

1.

2.

3.

4. (Hint: For those of you who do not recognize the little yellow guys, they're "Bert" from Sesame Street)

5.

6.

7.

8. (Another hint: The lady on top of the milk jugs is our Nini - her name is May)

9.

10.

11. (Yet another hint: The green things are pipe cleaners, if you couldn't tell)

12.

Sisters

Since we are moving, we've been going through some of our stuff and came across some pictures of Tara and I. You know, ones of us in the olden days, when we were young whipper-snappers. :-) Anyway, here are a few for your enjoyment.

Feeding each other ice cream at a restaurant in Hilton Head.

Posing for a Christmas picture.

Ummmm...need I say more?

Sporting our stylish Tigger hats at Oma's house.

"Kackyn, do you like my lipstick???" "Oh, yes, but check out my eye-shadow..."

Just looking sweet.

Guess Who Is 13 Today?

If you guessed Tara, you're right! The above picture is Tara when she was a day old. Tara has blessed our family in many ways - with her sense of humor (with which she makes up jokes that sometimes just aren't even funny), her love of music, and the way she likes to help out.

Here are some pictures of Tara doing things she loves:

Playing the piano.

Being with Nini (Grandma).

Cuddling her Scamper.

Happy Birthday, Tara! We love you!
