This little guy showed up on our deck this morning without a collar or an id chip. We have no idea whose he is, but he just hung around us all day. We called the police to see if anyone had lost a dog and we also put up flyers in the neighborhood. Unfortunately, no one claimed him by evening. He was really friendly and even plopped down for a nap on Tara's lap. He did do a little doggie do in the hall while we were out in the evening. A family down the street is looking to replace a dog they had up until a few weeks ago. They agreed to take him in the meantime while we see if the owner shows up. If not, he may be living permanently in the neighborhood. By the way, this is the second stray dog we've found at our house. The first one also ended up at a friend's house.
