The 12 Days of Christmas Answers

Hmmmm...looks like our 12 Days of Christmas quizz was difficult since there were no comments! So I decided to post the answers. Here they are:

1.

In the song it is "A Partridge in a Pear Tree" but in our version it is "A Sausage in a Pail Tree"!

2.

The songs says "Two Turtle Doves" and our version is the same, only it is Chocolate Turtle Doves rather than the birds.

3.

"Three French Hens" in the song, "Three French Pens" is our interpretation.

4. (Hint: For those of you who do not recognize the little yellow guys, they're "Bert" from Sesame Street)

"Four Calling Birds" vs. "Four Crawling Berts"

5.

"Five Golden Rings" and our version is the same...though they look more orange and yellow rather than gold!

6.

"Six Geese A-Laying" a.k.a. "Six Cheese A-Chasing"

7.

"Seven Swans A-Swimming" or "Seven Wands A-Waving"

8. (Another hint: The lady on top of the milk jugs is our Nini - her name is May)

"Eight Maids A-Milking" vs. "Eight Mays A-Milking" (You probably guessed that one!)

9.

"Nine Balls A-Bouncing" a.k.a. "Nine Ladies Dancing" which doesn't rhyme.

10.

"Ten Lords A-Leaping" says the song, or "Ten Cars A-Creeping"

11. (Yet another hint: The green things are pipe cleaners, if you couldn't tell)

"Eleven Pipers Piping" (our version is the same, only we used pipe cleaners raather than instruments...much cheaper!)

12.

And last but not least..."Ten Drummers Drumming" (Our second cousin once removed likes this one) "Ten Hummers Humming"

Please tell us if you got some of them...we'd like to hear just how hard it really was!
