The event was in a state park and the area was set up like a medieval market, where you could do different activities. In the afternoon there was some singing and a skit about Lady Jane Grey, as well as a speech from "Martin Luther" - a.k.a. Mr. McDonald.
Our whole family dressed up; and after all the work that went into the making of them we have decided that we absolutely must wear them more than once! :-)
In one of the "shops" there was a gentleman who was sketching portraits - he was amazing! It only took him about 45 minutes or so and he could make a beautiful sketch that really looked like the person he was sketching.

It looks like you had a great day. We really wanted to go, but decided that this year we shouldn't try to go.
Maybe next year.
