Dad, Tara and I provided the music for the prelude and during the wedding. This was the first wedding Tara and I have ever done so it was... nerve-wracking.
Here we are at the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner.
The wedding wasn't till 2:30 on Saturday so we spent the morning getting ready, doing hair, and in my case, practicing since I have a portable instrument...
Tara says she didn't take this picture for nothing and hence, here it is. Hope you enjoyed it.
This is MUCH better! :-)
At the reception we (Tara and I) surprised Ben and Michelle with a song we wrote, similar to the one we did for Opa & Oma's 50th, to the tune of Sound of Music songs. Here's the video for your enjoyment. :-) Please bear in mind that we were a bit nervous and had no instrumentation to back us up, and hence we don't always stay quite on key. :-) Hope you enjoy it anyway...

Aw what a cute little harp!
One thing, try to put your thumbs up while playing, Creating a C shape in both hands, this will give you a better tone, and not wear out your hand/wrist as fast. ( use the side of the tip of your thumbs!)
Hannah
hey the rollers give your hair a care free air and updo at the same time you should have gone with the look :O) jk.
the song was great
Hannah-
It is cute, isn't it? It has a surprisingly good sound for one so small.
I know I am supposed to play with the thumbs up and I try to - I just forget sometimes. :-) Need to write in the music every five measures or so, "Thumbs up!" or something! I don't have anyone to watch and correct me either... wish you lived closer so I could take from you!!!
Loo-
Yeah we all agreed the roller updo would really look striking with the black dress... LOL! Glad you liked the song!
Cute pictures! I'm sure Tara and you did a BEAUTIFUL job:):)
You girls sing quite well! :-)
