Believe it or not, there were NO correct answers for October's riddle! We had people saying 12 pears were left, and people who said that 0 were left. Neither is correct!
The riddle was:
Twelve pears are hanging high, twelve pears are hanging low. Along come twelve men, and they all take one. How many are left?
The answer is:
There are 23 pears left! The reason is that ALL twelve men, as a group, took ONE pear!
Nice try to all who answered this riddle! Maybe we'll make next month's a little less tricky...
