With primed walls...
Bathroom accessories are in, including Tara's "dream toilet" with the flusher on top. C'mon over and try it for yourself! *grin*
(see, you were wrong, Mr. Riggenbach - the light strategically positioned to enhance proper hand washing, instead of what you thought)
The new tile pad by the door
Painting trim!
On goes the paint!
Tara: keeper of the used-up-painters-tape
TADA! (wish it went as fast as posting these pictures...)
Now let's pull back and see what it looked like in the beginning.....
BEFORE: ugly paneling, crumbling drop ceiling (full of dead mice), florescent lights, disgusting carpet, leaky window wells....
And now....
FINISHED! Beautiful plain walls, mouse-less smooth ceiling, warm lighting, clean new carpet and no leaky window wells! Quite an improvement, I'd say!
Now we have to figure out where to put everything again.... :-)

It looks great! :) Good job!
The new basement looks fantastic!
The fixtures relative to the lighting is what I expected: good light for hand washing like you mentioned, and light over your shoulder for seated reading (one wouldn't want his head to cast a shadow on his reading material you know).
Come over to our cooking blog we have an award for you all!
WOW! Looks great!! Good work everyone! :)
