Gem of the week...

I was out the other evening taking pictures of our grapes (will post those later) and noticed a hot air balloon close by and pretty low, so I ran inside to grab the big zoom lens. I did capture the balloon, but I also got something I found much better than that, one of those moments where you breathlessly click the button and are extremely happy with the result. :-)

A butterfly landed on the lilac leaf long enough for me to get a few snapshots of it. (hey Strands, maybe yours decided to come for a visit!)
