Quiet blog...

Not so quiet life!

The end of August was extremely busy and we haven't had much time to post about it. Unfortunately our camera has been pretty quiet during those busy weeks, so I don't have many pictures to share with you, but here are a few that we did get!

We spent an afternoon with Wendy had fun watching the kids since Mr. and Mrs. Hill were away. The first picture is of Justin's cars lined up to watch the "race". He was playing the Car movie.

Multi-Church Picnic in Peoria! We had loads of fun getting to know new friends and meeting up with old ones!

Mr. and Mrs. Erber doing the 3-legged race

Mr. Geaschel and Elaina!

Go, Maggie, Go!

Corrine

Bella (Kathryn had the camera and so we came home with 10 pictures of the event and 14 pictures of Bella... I'll let Kathryn post them all later)
The softball game! We teamed up with the church from Elk Grove and won against the Peoria church! YEAH!
This little guys shows up at our feeder at every meal!

Apple picking!
We have quite a harvest and more to come!

So that isn't all we've been up to, but enough to get you up to date with the Yen family!

Em -

We just had some of them in a German apple pancake for breakfast....YUMMMY!!!!! And they do taste pretty good from what we can tell! We still have another tree to pick (and finish picking the first one) which has tiny redish apples too.

Hannah -

We are planning to make apple sauce with the rest of the apples that we picked! It's probably the best way to store them! :-) Miss you all!

Aww, sorry you didn't get more pictures! But is is great to fellowship, right? :-) So glad you all made it, but we were really wondering where you were during the softball game - we needed you to help cheer our guys on!

Beth was over there with you all cheering! (or at least she was for a little while because she was telling me all about it!)
I was in taking care of a sleeping child as well as talking to friends :)
