Riddle of the Month Winner

Well, it's not quite the exact end of September yet, but I don't think we will be getting any more responses to our riddle of the month contest, so I figured I might as well post the results. Our winner is:

Mrs. Ortega!

The riddle was:
There are two fathers and two sons, and they all go fishing together. Each one caught one fish, but the total number of fish was 3 (and no fish were lost in any way). How can this be?

And the answer is:
Because there were three men - a man with his son and his grandson.

Roughing It

This past weekend we headed out to Wisconsin for a few days of camping with our church family at Lutherdale campground. We had a great time, aside from the joys of "sleeping" in a tent on the ground, trying to boil water, and oh, those wonderful mosquito bites! Volleyball, stories around the campfire, and lots of good fellowship filled the weekend. Here are some pictures from our trip:

The little ones are enjoying the toy cars.

Everyone is watching...

There are two fathers and two sons, and they all go fishing together. Each one caught one fish, but the total number of fish was 3 (and no fish were lost in any way). How can this be?
