WE BOUGHT A HOUSE!!!

The deed is done...the house is ours! Praise be to the Lord. He has brought us through this process and we are thankful that now we have a beautiful new home! He is good.
We had originally scheduled to do the final walk through on Thursday night. That did not happen because the former owners were moving out that day and their movers were late. So instead we did the walk through at 7:30 a.m. Friday before the closing! Everthing that we said ought to be there was there, plus a few little decorations they left (apparently they didn't want them anymore!). After we closed we learned that the they almost backed out of the deal at the last minute because the wife wanted her pot rack from the kitchen, which we had specified that we wanted to stay!
Everything went very smoothly at the closing. We were expecting it to be a couple of hours, based on our last house, but were pleasantly surprised to find that we were done in only about 45 minutes!
After a nice celebration lunch :-), we headed back to what we now call the "sleeping house" to load up a few things, and then drove back to the new house. The rest of the afternoon Dad, Tara and I shoveled the driveway which was covered with ice at least an inch and a half thick (and, by the way, our driveway has about quadrupled in size from what we are used to!), while Mom did some cleaning and vacuuming inside.
Tuesday is the big move! We would appreciate your prayers that we can really get things done and that nobody will get hurt. :-) We are very excited about this and can't wait to be moved in and living there!
